Dr. James Strong is the Executive Director and CEO of the Fountain of Life Community Development Corporation. Dr. Strong has volunteered his services for the past 10 years. Dr. Strong inspires others to strive for greater despite many obstacles that may try to hinder progress.  He is a man of utmost character, a visionary who loves helping people and his motto is building better communities, connecting as one.  Dr. Strong is a man of utmost character who has served as Pastor of Fountain of Life Church for 18 years and his combined years of pastoral service is 31 years.  His education includes B.A/MA degrees in Biblical Studies from Trinity Bible College and Seminary.  He has a Doctorate of Theology from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, and an honorary Doctorate from St. Thomas Christian College in Jacksonville, FL. The leadership of Dr. Strong is displayed in varying capacities which includes; successful business owner for 20 years, numerous awards for excellent customer service, pastor of the year COGIC 2016, featured in the Whole Truth Magazine for 100 Distinguished Pastors, 2016 Recipient of the Life-Time Achievement Award from the Presidential Volunteer Services, former Treasurer of Jurisdiction I Department of Evangelism and District President of Evangelism. He serves as the Chairman of the Huntsville District Church of God in Christ. Dr. Strong is a genuine loving man, who mentors many while maintaining a wonderful strong family.  He is married to District Supervisor Mary Strong and has two children, Elder Jamel Strong and Evangelist Faith LaJoy Bailey (Lance) who works diligently in the ministry.  He also has three wonderful grandchildren (Jordan, Christian and Christopher Bailey) along with a host of spiritual children throughout the country. Further, his mentoring has contributed to individuals completing degrees, opening businesses and pursuing career advancements. Currently, Dr. Strong is built a life center to provide other resources to the community.
